INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

In achievement of the National Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation and quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, it is essential that an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure has to be established. Hence, Bapatla college of Pharmacy (BCOP) has established the IQAC cell with Dr.K.Rajyalakshmi Associate professor, Dept of Pharmaceutics as co-ordinator

The IQAC works towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of the institution.

Interanal quality assurance cell (IQAC) is to build and ensure quality culture at the institution level.
The prime responsibility of IQAC is to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of education of an institution.
The prime task of IQAC is to develop system for conscious,consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution . The role of IQAC in our college is to maintain quality standards in teaching,learning,evaluation and research .
To improve acadaemic and administratitive performance of the institution.
To promote measures for institutionalize functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Development and implementation of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic activities of the institution.
Facilitating the learner-centric environment to promote quality education and faculty maturation for adating continuous teaching – learning environment.
Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional aspects.
Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
Acting as nodal agency of the institution for quality related activities.
Ensure enhancement and coordination among various activities of the institution and institutionalize all good practices.
Act as dynamic system for quality changes in HEIs.

Ensure heightened level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement
Ensure internalization of the quality culture
