Mr. K. Poorna Chandra Rao has 16+ years of teaching experience of. He started his career as Lecturer from NRI Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhopal, M.P from October,2007 to February,2009. Later he worked as Assistant Professor in St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy, Chirala, A.P from March, 2009- December, 2017. He joined Present institution in December 2017. He completed B. Pharmacy from Bapatla College of Pharmacy, Bapatla, affiliated to JNTUH, Hyderabad during 2001-2005. He did his Master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry Specialization from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, RGPV, Bhopal during 2005-2007. He is currently pursuing Ph.D from JNTUK, Kakinada in Pharmaceutical Analysis.

He is a registered pharmacist from AP state Pharmacy Council (043620/A₁). He was Qualified in GATE in 2005 (89.73 percentile). He worked as Student trainee in Prestigious institute like IICT Hyderabad for a period of 6 months (July, 2006-Dec., 2006). He is a life member of APTI (AP/LM-561). He is ratified as Asst. Professor from JNTUK Kakinada in 2014. His area of interest in research work includes Synthetic medical chemistry and Analytical method development and validation. He has published and presented his research work in various National and International journals/conferences/seminars. Till date he successfully guided 06 PG and 16 UG dissertation works. Also, he is the NSS Programme officer for NSS Unit of Bapatla College of Pharmacy (90214901A) & UBA Co-ordinator.
