Mrs Neelam Begum. She completed her formal education at Space Central School in Sriharikota. She earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Bapatla College of Pharmacy (2003) and a master’s degree in pharmacy practice specialization from Sri Ramachandra College of Pharmacy, SRMC(DU), Porur, Chennai. (2006)

She started her career as a lecturer in Bapatla college of pharmacy in the year 2006 and still continuing in the Department of pharmacology. She is a registered   Pharmacist   at Andhra pharmacy council ( A1/040320).

She has excellent teaching experience in various subjects in pharmacology for both B.pharm & M.pharm.

Till date she has successfully guided 17 UG and 8 PG dissertation works in revealing the Herbal drugs with potential therapeutic benefits   and also studies pertaining to clinical research .                                             

She has published   around 10 research articles in   renowned national and international journals. She participated and shared her research experience in 10 national   and international  conferences, workshops& symposiums she is a life member of professional organizations such as  The Indian Pharmacists Association(IPA) & Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India(APTI).
