Bapatla College of Pharmacy (BCOP)
Bapatla College of Pharmacy (BCOP) is a reputed institution dedicated to delivering quality education in pharmaceutical sciences. It was established in 1995 by the Bapatla Education Society, an organization founded in 1962 with the noble intention of providing professional and higher education to students from rural and semi-urban areas in and around Bapatla.
About Bapatla Education Society
The Bapatla Education Society was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No. 58 of 1962. Since its establishment, the Society has been actively promoting quality education by founding and successfully managing various educational institutions in the fields of Pharmacy, Polytechnic, and Engineering.

Campus & Programs
BCOP is spread over a 55-acre lush green campus, providing an excellent academic environment. The institute is self-financed and offers:
- B. Pharm (4-year undergraduate program) – started in 1995
- M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) – introduced in 2004
- M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis) – introduced in 2009
The institution is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The college is ISO certified (ISO 2022) and maintains high academic standards with well-equipped laboratories that meet the guidelines of:

- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK)
The Admission Department functions strictly as per the rules of APSCHE, and fee structure is implemented according to AFRC norms, Andhra Pradesh.

To ensure effective curriculum implementation prescribed by JNTUK and PCI, the institution maintains cutting-edge facilities including modern laboratories, digital resources, well-equipped classrooms, and advanced teaching aids.
The college also features a beautiful medicinal plant garden with 100+ medicinal plants, developed and maintained by students under faculty guidance, providing practical exposure to pharmacognosy and herbal sciences.
