Mr. Dhanapal Visagaperumal (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Bapatla College of Pharmacy, Bapatla) started his career as Lecturer in Bapatla College of Pharmacy, Bapatla in the year 2007. He possesses over 8 years of teaching experience in teaching the various chemistry and analysis subject to the UG & PG pharmacy students. Shortly he is going to complete his Ph.D from ANU, Guntur. He studied M.Pharm., (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna institute of paramedical sciences, Coimbatore (The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai) during 2005-2007 and B.Pharm., from Pallavan Pharmacy College, Kanchipuram (The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai) during 1999-2003. He got distinction in both UG & PG.
He has been performing research works in synthetic medicinal chemistry on novel heterocyclic bio-active compounds. He published around 20 research papers in various reputed national and international journals and presented around 15 papers in various conference. He is a recognised reviewer for many national and international journals. He is a life member of APTI (AP/LM-022). He is a registered pharmacist of Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council, Chennai (9977A1). He received best NSS program organiser award from JNTUK, Kakinada in the year 2012. Till date he successfully guided 15 PG and 7 UG dissertation work. At present he is guiding 6 PG and 1 UG projects.
