Obesity awareness program was organized in Bapatla College of Pharmacy. Senior Wellness Coach, Global Expansion Team (GET) of Herbalife Mrs. Ravinuthala Anusha came as the guest speaker for this program. The teachers of Bapatla College of Pharmacy were made aware of the actual causes of obesity, the long-term diseases that come with obesity, and the health precautions to be taken to prevent them. Subsequently, everyone was given a body check up and made aware of whether their weight is less than their height or not.
Mr. Muppalaneni Srinivasa Rao, President of Bapatla Education Society said that this is an innovative program, Secretary Manam Nageswara Rao said that health for all is possible with nutritious food. Members of Bapatla Education Society, College Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff participated in this programme.
